The 7th grade students once again participated in Earth Day with Mount Union College Students. Again the students really enjoyed the day. Kevin Burls, a senior at Mount Union and a biology major, organized the day. The Mount students raised money and collected donated items. This year there were 6 presentations: "Bee Keeping" , "Amphibians and Reptiles", "Deer Population Game", Tree Art", "Water Olympics" and "Worm Anatomy". Each student was given a bag of goodies. Twelve students had winning numbers drawn from a basket and received large spring baskets to take home. The 7th ended the day with "Finding Nemo Movie". The 7th grade students and staff appreciated the Mount students presentations. We hope that Earth Day will be continued next year.
