The Arabian horse is a breed of horse that originated in the deserts of what is now known as the Middle East. Arabians are the oldest and purest horse breed in existence today. Almost every breed of modern horse, big or small, originated from Arabians.
Arabians can be these colors:
Arabians are known for their high tail carriage and small, dished heads with low-set, large and intelligent eyes. They tend to be a flighty, proud breed, and are known to pick up on their rider's senses.
In the horse show world, Arabians compete in everything from jumping to reining, gymkhana to polo. They are considered to be the most versatile horse breed in the world, not to mention the most beautiful.
