SADD serves as a body of students who work together to spread the word about the consequences of destructive decisions. SADD sponsors a Super Stars competition in the fall, a Christmas presentation, and visits the middle and elementary schools to introduce them to SADD, schedules assemblies, and sponsors many awareness activities during school year, such as, Red Ribbon, Homecoming Project, Volunteer Project for Washington Ruritans, Habitat for Humanity, two school assemblies, and Prom Pledge Drive.
