We have several staff members who have expressed in interest in help a teacher. We will be calling you in August to set up times and assign you a teacher.

If you are interested in the Angel Food Ministries program, be sure to contact Mollee Nutial the Friday before to make sure of the truck delivery time.




Upcoming Projects - Help Wanted

Angel Food Ministries, Saturday, June 2, from 8:30a.m. to 12:00p.m. at the Alliance-Salem United Methodist Church. They are looking for 4-6 students to carry groceries out to people's cars. Please see Mrs. Childerson or Mollee Nutial to sign-up.

Marlington Alumni Association is looking for people to help out in their golf outing on July 27th from 9am to 2pm. Please see Mrs. Childerson or Mollee Nutial to sign up if you are interested.

This summer we have projects we need help with: Help-A-Teacher, Freshman Orientation, and Passing out schedules all at the end of August. Please fill out your summer form or tell Mrs. Childerson or Mollee Nutial if you are interested. We will be contacting you over the summer with more information.

Past Projects

On April 28th we had four students help with Angel Food Ministries.They were: Emily Wallace, Jen
Hoffman, Aleta Ray, and Mollee Nutial. This is a very worthwhile project and the help is very much appreciated by the church.

On April 13th and April 14th, Character Counts participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life at Mount Union College. We had 60 students and 25 staff and their families walk in the Relay. With the help of the Marlington Staff and the Marlington Community we raised over $5,000 for the Cancer Society. We received a gold award and a first place trophy for totaling over $5,000.

On March 31st, 4 Character Counts members helped with the Angel Food Ministries at Salem United Methodist Church.

March 10th Character Counts helped at the Regional 13th DI Competition hosted by Marlington High School this year.

On February 16th, Character Counts helped at the DI's Rigatoni Dinner at Marlington High School.

On January 19th, Character Counts had a Fun Night to inducted new members and get to know fellow Character Counts members better. Character Counts members brought games, music and food to the event. We had over 40 members come and enjoy.
