I can recognize, write, and say the sounds of letters.

I can tell the beginning sound of a word and blend letters to say the words.

I can read color, number, and directional words.

I can find the meaning of a word using an easy dictionary.

I can tell the order of events in nonfiction text.

I can tell about simple maps, charts, and graphs.

Writing Process

I can brainstorm writing ideas in a group.

I can choose a topic for writing.
